Rolling monthly gym memberships at Virgin Active Canary Riverside start from £90 for 16-17 year olds, with prices increasing up to £217 for a full membership with a rolling contract. You can get a cheaper membership with a 12 month contract.
The Gym
The gym itself is modern and well laid out with all the necessary equipment (both cardio and weights) that you’ll need. There’s also a 20 metre lap pool so that you can enjoy a swim after your workout (or instead of). Being on the riverside, the views here are incredible with a select number of machines facing out towards the river, allowing you to row and row and row, and never get bored of the view.
Personal Training
Personal training is available with a free introductory session available. Discounts are also available for members and when multiple sessions are booked.
The Spa
The spa here is the perfect way to wind down after a hard day or a tough workout. With a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi pool, you’ll be able to relieve some of that stress and muscle tension before heading home.
Memberships
Being a premium gym, memberships here come at a higher cost and it’s one of their top tier venues so not every Virgin Active member can visit. Rolling monthly memberships start from £217 per month + joining fee, with discounts for longer term contracts, 16-25 year olds and over 65 year olds. If you are a Virgin Active member at another gym, you’ll need to check to see if Virgin Active Canary Riverside is included. Corporate memberships are also available.
